Our tenth-annual fundraiser and legendary local culinary event, the Tomato Sandwich Taste-Off, will return from 9:00-11:30 on July 26th! Join local chefs as they compete to win the trophy and make the best tomato sandwich. Proceeds from this event benefit the operation of the Travelers Rest Farmers Market, which supports 130+ local businesses and farms. Your ticket buys you a platter of each of the chefs’ tomato sandwich creations and a vote to choose the winner. Voting ends at 11:30.
NOTICE: Pre-sales end July 21st. At that time, the ticket price will increase to $30.
ABOUT TRFMTravelers Rest Farmers Market is located at Trailblazer Park and opens every Saturday from 8:30 AM- 12PM from May - September. Enjoy 85+ vendors, live music, kids activities, free yoga, food trucks and more. Bike or walk, as we are right off the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Find fresh produce, eggs, honey, pasture-raised meats, soaps, baked goods, artisan crafts and more. We hope you will join us!
This ticket grants you access into the event, including a sample-sized portion from each of our participating restaurants (picture this: a tomato sandwich platter!), and a ticket to vote for the sandwich that you think wins it all.
